One Lost Village is a community connecting app that was born out of a need for people to find their own village. We know that people can feel isolated and lonely, and that's why we are so passionate in connecting you with like-minded others regardless of where they live. Our mission is to create meaningful relationships that will bring a sense of community to anyone who is searching for it.

Captain of The Ultimate Route Cörlina, first founded the app with the family's own interests in mind. Their aim was to find like minded others to travel with or to meet up with when travelling abroad. As a Homeschool mother of 2, she founded a community co-op in 2022 to help homeschool parents with a relief day.
Hearing stories of how hard it is to make genuine connections in today's world, with so many people desperate to be connected and supported within a community. She knows very well that it can be difficult when you feel disconnected or are in incompatible friendships. As a family, they know how important it is to connect with others who share our the same interests and stages of life, to feel a sense of belonging. Cörlina's passion for bringing people together, connecting them socially and professionally motivated her to finding something that could hopefully initiate connections on a more meaningful level for everyone.
Cörlina says, "We’re told “It takes a village” but for many who are searching, they simply cannot find their own people, to which I ask
"where are the directions to this village that is spoken of?"
Finding your people isn’t that simple. People who make you feel connected, who normalise the struggles life brings and who you can celebrate your highs with. This is a dream for many.
